Business life can feel confusing, isolating, and overwhelming at times. Kitchen Sink Coaching helps you make sense of things and take practical steps.

If you have found me, you are likely an ethical business owner who is values-driven and wants to do good work. You probably spent time in non-profits, schools, or even the medical field. And you burned the fuck out, because those systems extract our labor. And now you are in business, but it feels lonely. You are used to being in community. I understand.

I spent many years working in schools, making very little money, and my passion for everything slowly dissipated over the years. I spent time feeling lost and not sure what to do next. This adventure took me down the road to become a coach and therapist, so I could really help people.

I'm Dre (they/them), a multipotentialite. I am a coach, anti-capitalist witch, and therapist (in a private practice for folx who live in California).

KSC helps you design and price a course your community genuinely needs. There is no false urgency and no extraction tactics. I help you develop a curriculum that you feel excited about and one that flows easily for your community.

Shame and scarcity around money is so common and KSC helps you sift through what is yours and what may have been passed on to you. We examine your stories, work through actual and imagined scarcity, and rebuild from steadier ground.

KSC helps with leaning into your inner knowing. This is so you can trust yourself in this wild digital world we are living in. It is easy to lose connection with ourselves. Especially if we are in survival mode. I want you to think critically and trust yourself.

What is Anti-Capitalist Coaching?

Capitalism is a fucky and harmful system. Yet, we are in it and we need money to survive. Here at Kitchen Sink Coaching, we believe that poverty is not a crime or the fault of people experiencing it. It is a symptom of a sick system that is working well for very few people.

Money is not inherintly bad. Anti-capitalism is not anti-commerce or money shaming. It is in fact the opposite. It is commerce designed by the community for the community. And it keeps your values in mind! If you want to make a lot of money, cool. If you want to figure out how to sustain through bartering or other resources, cool. I'm not here to be prescriptive.

My programs work well for people who have seen the crab mentality and have felt like saying a big fuck you to the larger system that extracts labor and resources from hard-working people.

My personal values align with a Democratic Socialist perspective. I believe in giving land back to Native tribes and I support reparations for Black Americans. If you are in a different place, that is your choice. However, you need to know what frame I hold here, because this is about collective liberation. I want to put money back in the hands of people who have been actively kept out of spaces that build wealth.
